The excess is the maximum amount the customer is responsible for per damage caused to the vehicle. This amount depends on the type of vehicle and the insurance selected.
You can choose between different insurance packages, which determine the level of excess and may vary depending on the vehicle type (for example: larger cars, vans, or minibuses):
Basic: higher excess (included)
Standard: reduced excess
Premium: lowest possible excess (in some cases, a €0 excess may not be available for certain vehicle types)
All details regarding the applicable excess are shown during the booking process.
